What happens to my donation?

Your donation helps keep this site running; updated and maintained. It goes towards developing new content; new features; travel costs; site visits; research and new images. In short, it helps with the cost of running the site.

Keeping a site like England’s North East running needs your support. It started out as a hobby that has continued to grow. Updating, maintaining and developing a site with so much content takes time and costs money.

I want this content to be accessible so people can learn about this wonderful region. Through knowledge, I want people who live here to take pride in their region’s history, beauty and achievements or get more from their journey if they are visitors. I don’t want to hide it all behind a pay wall.
